The Little Maid Is Ready to Print

The Little Maid Who Saved a Captain is a children's Bible story and coloring book. It is 46 pages and contains the story of the little maid, coloring pages depicting the story, and activities to match.

The Summary: The little maid lived in a foreign land among strangers, yet she never forgot her homeland or her God. When her master could find no relief from his leprosy, the little maid knew he could receive healing from the God of Israel. One day, the little maid boldly approached her master's wife and recommended a visit to the prophet of God where she was certain her master could get help from the Lord. Her faith and courage saved her master, Captain Naaman.

An Excerpt: In a world filled with adults, children sometimes feel as small as an ant or a tiny grasshopper. Many children feel unnoticed and unable to make a difference in such a big world. Yet, the Bible contains many stories of children just like you who have made a big difference in the lives of others. Our story travels back almost 3,000 years in Bible times to the land of Syria. It is a country just north of the land of Israel. In this land lived Naaman, the brave captain of the Syrian army. He was a great and honourable man that the Lord used to bring great deliverance to the Syrian people.

The Need: For us, writing books is truly a ministry. We look for opportunities to give copies away to those (children or adults, depending upon the intended audience) who might not otherwise be able to purchase one. As such, we have a small budget available for printing new works. Will you help us get this work to the printer? Any size donations are helpful and add up. If you would consider helping us with this project, please visit https://www.learnthebible.org/support and submit your gift or send a check via snail mail to Antioch Baptist Church at 5709 North Broadway Street Knoxville, TN 37918. If you send a check, be sure to put The Little Maid on the memo line.
